The Program

In addition to the Initial Competency Assessment, alphabeePRO provides a 6-hour RBT Competency Training program for those who wish to receive additional training to become better equipped for the competency assessment. To see if you are eligible to receive training, please fill out our Contact Form by clicking here. The program allows a trainee to:

• Receive hands-on training and feedback from a BACB-certified AlphaBee clinician with years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities
• Act out role play scenarios with a trainer, with an emphasis on tasks outlined in the Initial Competency Assessment
• Train at one of AlphaBee's on-site clinics

Training occurs during one 6-hour workday. Date and time of training will be scheduled by your BACB certificant. Additional training may be required based on candidate's skills and trainer's recommendations, if necessary.

Additional information

Please note that this service is not available independent of the assessment. Competency training is only provided to those who are also completing an Initial Competency Assessment with alphabeePRO. At this time, we only offer in-person training at our AlphaBee centres located in Ontario, Canada whereas competency assessments may be completed in-person or remotely.
