About the ABA Foundations Course
The ABA Foundations course is offered as foundational training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for direct staff, instructor therapists, and individuals seeking professional development. This course is intended for learning and skill-building purposes only and is not a credentialing program.
RBT Clarification
This course does not qualify participants to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and does not meet the BACB 40-hour RBT training requirements effective January 1, 2026. The course should not be used for RBT certification or credentialing purposes in any jurisdiction.
In Ontario, RBT certification is no longer available. Following updates to the BACB RBT Task List, we made the decision to retire this course rather than update it to meet revised certification requirements. However, the course is still available to those interested in learning the foundational knowledge and not interested in obtaining the RBT credential.
