Kimberley Zonneveld
Dr. Kimberley Zonneveld is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Applied Disability Studies at Brock University. She has worked since 2002 with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across clinical, educational, and research contexts. Dr. Zonneveld earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology (Behaviour Analysis) from the University of Kansas, after completing doctoral coursework at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Science in Behaviour Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Her research applies behaviour analysis to promote meaningful skill development and social participation across diverse populations. Current projects examine technology-enhanced and innovative teaching approaches, including telehealth video prompting, virtual training, TAGteach, fluency-building strategies, and group contingencies to improve classwide performance and physical activity. She also studies pediatric feeding difficulties and skill acquisition across the lifespan. Her work emphasizes scalable, sustainable evidence-based practices and training caregivers and educators. The Zonneveld Lab trains graduate students and welcomes research volunteers.
