Course Description

The objective of this presentation is to provide parents, caretakers and frontline workers with information about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the evidence-based practice of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). You will hear from Board Certified Behaviour Analysts Therapists about how ABA can be implemented to support individuals and their families. This evidence-based practice focuses on increasing one’s quality of life through individualized programming and goals that are developed with families and other professionals that may support the family.

Participants will:

Learn about evidence-based practice for treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Learn how to navigate Applied Behavioural Analytic services for a child with ASD
Be introduced to the 100 Day Tool Kit developed by Autism Ontario for young children and school-age children
